The Real Problem

Your website isn't failing because it's ugly.
It's failing because it was built like an afterthought.

Most WordPress sites are built by freelancers who disappear, or agencies that hand you a template with your logo slapped on. Both cost you money every single day they stay live.

01

It loads like it's 2011.

Every second of delay costs you 7% in conversions. Most WordPress sites we inherit take 5+ seconds on mobile. That's 35% of your sales walking away before the page even renders.

02

It breaks every time you touch it.

Updates crash. Plugins conflict. Checkout fails at 2am on a Friday. Your "developer" is unreachable. You're paying for a website that holds your business hostage.

03

It doesn't match your pricing.

You charge premium. Your site looks DIY. That gap shows up in every metric — bounce rate, time on page, conversion. A site built in a week can't represent a business built over years.

How we work

We're not website designers.
We're WordPress engineers.

Every engagement starts with measurable goals and ends with a codebase your in-house team actually wants to maintain. Conversion tracking, speed-optimised hosting, and a 90-day iteration window are baked in — not bolted on.

  • Custom-built, never templated. No Divi. No drag-and-drop jobs sold as "custom." Hand-coded themes and blocks, site by site.
  • Speed is a requirement.Sub-2-second load on 4G. 98+ Lighthouse scores. If we can't hit them, we keep working — at our cost.
  • We stay for 90 days post-launch.Active iteration window on every build. Real response on WhatsApp, not a ticket system.
  • Paystack and Flutterwave, native.More African payment integrations shipped than most global agencies know exist.

Our process

A seven-phase process
that leaves nothing to chance.

Most agencies run on vibes and Slack messages. We've built this process over 13 years and every mistake worth making. You'll always know exactly where your project is.

01
Day 1 · Free

Discovery

We dig into your business, goals, and constraints. No generic "tell us about your project" form. A real 30-minute call where we decide together if we're a fit.

02
Week 1 · Free

Consultation & Strategy

A deep-dive call plus a written consultation brief covering your competitors, audience, technical needs, and a preliminary recommendation — all before you've paid a naira.

03
Week 2

Proposal

A transparent, itemised proposal. Core scope clearly separated from optional add-ons. No upsell games. You know exactly what you're paying for.

04
Week 3

Onboarding & Kickoff

Dedicated project manager, shared Notion workspace, weekly sync calls, and a single WhatsApp line to your lead developer. No Slack archaeology needed.

05
Weeks 4–7

Design & Development

Design mockups first, then hand-coded builds. You see progress in real time on a staging URL, with video walkthroughs every Friday. No black-box phase.

06
Week 8

Launch & Training

Zero-downtime migration. Full Loom-recorded training on your new site. Your team can publish, edit, and run promotions without calling us — unless you want to.

07
90 Days Post-Launch

Iterate & Grow

Every build includes 90 days of iteration. We watch analytics, tune conversion points, and fix anything that surfaces in real-world use. Most agencies ghost you at launch. We stay.

Selected Work

Real brands.
Real numbers. Real receipts.

We don't do vanity portfolios. Every case study has a number attached — because that's the only thing that matters when you're hiring someone to build the thing that makes you money.

DoxFlowy

295templates

Not a marketing site — a revenue funnel. DoxFlowy's WordPress build had to do three jobs: host a free legal template library that ranks on Google, hand off existing users to customize templates inside the app, and let new customers buy directly on the marketing site — with auto-account-creation and free trial activation at checkout. Three systems, one seamless flow.

Why Shabtech

Six things other agencies
don't offer.

30-day launch guarantee

We hit deadlines because we scope like adults. Miss our date on standard builds and we waive the project management fee. No weasel clauses.

WhatsApp response in 2 hours

Not a ticket system. Not a shared inbox at support@. A direct line to the developer who built your site — during business hours, Lagos to London to LA.

Transparent pricing

No "call us for a quote" runaround. Published rate cards in $, ₦, and £. Itemised proposals. Fixed-fee projects by default. You know the bill before you sign.

3-market coverage, 1 team

Offices in Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja. Clients in 11 countries. We work across WAT, GMT, and EST — so you get a response whether you're in Lekki or Leeds.

Africa + global expertise

We know Paystack, Flutterwave, and Interswitch as well as we know Stripe and PayPal. That mix doesn't exist at US or UK agencies. It's your secret weapon.

90-day iteration window

Most agencies disappear at launch. We stay for 90 days of active tuning — watching analytics, fixing edge cases, optimising conversion. Bundled. Free.

"
We'd worked with three agencies before Shabtech. They were the first team that asked about our business before asking about our website. That difference shows up everywhere in the final product.

Transparent Pricing

No "call us for a quote."
Just real numbers.

Most agencies hide pricing because their margins depend on you being uninformed. Ours don't. Here's roughly what things cost. We'll give you an exact number within 48 hours of our first call.

Common Questions

The questions we get
before every call.

Why WordPress and not Shopify, Webflow, or Framer?

+
Because you own it. Shopify takes 2.9% of every sale forever. Webflow and Framer lock you into their hosting and their prices. WordPress is open-source — it runs 43% of the internet for a reason. For most growth-stage brands, WordPress beats the alternatives on total cost of ownership over 3 years. That said, if you're better served by Shopify, we'll tell you.

We're based in the US / UK. Isn't a Nigerian agency a risk?

+
Fair question. Short answer: we've been serving international clients since 2013, with formal contracts, signed NDAs, and full IP transfer at launch. We work Lagos–London–NYC time zones every day. Our WhatsApp response is usually faster than a US agency's email. And our pricing is 3–5× less than a comparable US or UK shop — not because we're cheaper, but because our cost base is lower.

How long will my project take?

+
Essentials: 4 weeks. Growth: 6–8 weeks. Enterprise: 10–14 weeks. We hit these dates because we scope realistically up front. On standard builds, if we miss our agreed launch date, we waive the project management fee. We don't make promises we can't keep.

What happens after launch?

+
Every build includes a 90-day iteration window — we watch analytics, tune conversion points, and fix anything that surfaces in real use. After that, most clients move onto our Care & Growth plan ($450/mo+) for ongoing maintenance, updates, and dev hours. You're never stuck — you can walk away at any point with full site ownership and all code.

Can you rebuild a site that's already broken or hacked?

+
Yes — it's one of the things we do most. Bring us your broken site, your vanished-developer site, your hacked site, your five-years-since-anyone-touched-it site. We diagnose in 48 hours and quote fixed-fee. We've rescued sites other agencies called "lost causes" and had them back live in under two weeks.

Do you accept USD / GBP / crypto / wire transfers?

+
Yes to all of the above, plus EUR and NGN. We accept bank wire, USDT/USDC, Wise, and direct NGN transfers. 50% deposit to start, 50% on launch. No crypto-scam stuff — we use the same USDT rails Nigerian freelancers have used to invoice US agencies for five years.

Let's find out if
we're a fit.

30 minutes. No slides. No sales pitch. We'll look at your site together, tell you what's working, what's costing you sales, and whether we're the right team to fix it — or point you to someone who is.

■ Fast sites. Good code. No surprises. ■
